dreaming of spectacles

my new spring crush is finding a pair of spectacles. prism london have the best pair. ever. if only i could find a store here that stocks these babies. i am so in love. and am thinking nautical stripes, white pants, beige brogues and a little benah navy bag with tan trimmings. there is something so feminine about the cream frames. it will look perfect whilst sharing a strawberry milkshake with my man in the sun.

boyfriend knits. chunky cardigans. slouchy pants. brogues. socks. buttoned up shirts. this is my favourite style at the moment. perhaps today, mostly as it feels it has frozen over in my studio space so i am drawn to oversized dressing. comfortable outfits. an updated preppy new yorker look mostly thanks to alexander wang who has, with a dark colour palette of charcoal, taupe and black, given this new nerd suddenly a fashionable update. classic shapes, colours and textures. nothing overdone. nothing over styled.  except an amazing handbag perhaps?

Resort 11 Preview

Ok. Dries Van Noten is the pioneer of the printed pant. Proenza has a new found love of it. A summer crush. perhaps. maybe? definitely..... Me need a printed pant right about now. Lisa Ho, Bassike, Zimmerman and Camilla and Marc.. beautiful.

Tailored yet slouchy. Leather Pants are just so amazing right now. All grown up. Introduced to Fashion. Inspired by the Classic Dries Pant. This silhouette is just to die for. My vintage find as seen at www.belindablog.com.au is in the perfect khaki colour. I never want to take them off. Flannel, Ellery and Alexander Wang are making me smile with their takes on this current trend.
